Nayanthara was in the news recently when the Tamil Film Producers' Council recently banned her from working in Tamil films, but the actress patched up with them and they immediately revoked the ban. We hear that the actress is now looking for more Telugu films. She is already doing a Telugu film opposite young actor NTR, directed by VV Vinayak. Now, she's signed another film opposite Ravi Teja. "I have acted with Ravi Teja in the blockbuster Dubai Seenu, and I am happy to do so again. Boyapati Sreenu narrated an interesting subject and I immediately accepted it," said the actress about the film that will be produced by Ganesh Babu.

But sources close to Nayan point out that the venture failed to take off on the stipulated time mentioned in the contract and Nayan’s call sheet was wasted. The advance amount, as per their claims, is adjusted towards the loss incurred by the actress. The buzz in Kollywood is that the Producers’ Council may take stern on the actress which could pave way for her ban in the Telugu and Malayalam film industries too
